Presenter of BBC2’s Crème de la Crème and Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge, is half the man he used to be! Literally! Over the last two and a half years he’s shed a whopping 10 stone and was barely recognisable during his latest TV appearance.
He recently opened up on ITV’s This Morning and said, “I’ve lost over 10 stone in two and a half years. It’s been a lifestyle change, a process. I was approached for my 40th birthday and that’s the point you look at what you’ve achieved and start analysing where you’re going and where you wanna be in the future and you start thinking… so yeah, I made a big lifestyle change.’
And how did he do it? Apparently Tom lost the weight by giving up alcohol and cutting down on carbs! Easy right?!
Tom said in an interview with The Telegraph, “I took up swimming and watching my carb intake. I stopped eating carbs late, and have got into eating fruit: I love apples and grapes as a snack now. I’ve gone down the route where I eat plenty of protein and not any carbs. I just ignore the potato bit, basically.”
Good for you Tom, we think you look fantastic!
