Spanish ice cream chocolate trifles are so luxurious, yet it’s just an assembly job – what could be easier?

SERVES 6 – PREP 5 MINS – NO COOK

1 Madeira cake, sliced

6tbsp sweet sherry

6 large scoops milk chocolate ice cream

200ml whipping cream, whisked to soft peaks

100g dark chocolate, grated

50g almonds, chopped

 1 Divide the cake into 6 glasses and drizzle over sherry.

2 Top with ice cream, grated chocolate and almonds.

Per Serving: 600 cals, 39g fat (saturated 21g), 13g carbs
