500g plums, washed

1 cinnamon stick

125g golden caster sugar

200ml sweet dessert wine

1 Heat the oven to 220C, Gas 7. Put the plums in a roasting tin with the cinnamon stick, sugar and wine.

2 Roast plums for 20 mins until tender and the liquid is syrupy. Great eaten either warm or cool.
