Flatbread-recipeYou can’t beat the smell of homemade bread lingering in the kitchen after a baking session. Ready-made pizza dough is great for making these easy cheats’ breads.

3 x 400g packs ready-made pizza dough

6tbsp commeal or polents

4tbsp grated Parmesan

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1tsp dried chilli flakes

3tbsp olive oil

 

1. Heat oven to 220C, Gas 7. Grease 2 baking trays. Cut the dough rounds in half.

2. Sprinkle work surface with commeal or polenta. Use a rolling pin to make 7.5cm round and put on to baking trays.

3. Divide the dough into 12 portions. Sprinkle some with Parmesan, some with garlic and the rest with chilli flakes. Then sprinkle over a little sea salt and drizzle with some olive oil

4. Bake for 8-10 mins. Serve warm.
