This really is a miracle midweek meal – just four ingredients and it tastes fab! Here’s our recipe for easy, peasy Cottage pie.

SERVES 4 – PREP 10 MINS – COOK 30 MINS

400g minced beef or lamb

400g chunky lamb and vegetable soup

2tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 x 450g packets Cheddar mash

 

 

 

 

 

 

1 Heat the oven to 220C, Gas 7. Fry the mince in a non-stick pan for 10 mins to brown.

2 Season, stir in the soup, then add the Worcestershire sauce.

3 Tip the mince mixture into and ovenproof dish, then top with the Cheddar mash.

4 Bake for 20 mins until it is piping hot and pale golden.

Per serving:  532 cals, 27g fat (14g saturated fat) 42g carbs
