Craving a chocolate dessert but know you really shouldn’t? These gorgeously creamy easiest-ever low-fat chocolate pots take just 10 mins and taste divine but serve in espresso cups or small glasses so you won’t be tempted to eat too much. Use a flavoured chocolate if you like – chilli, orange or Green & Black’s Maya Gold with hints of orange and spice would all be delicious.
SERVES 6 – PREP 5 MINS – COOK 5 MINS
200g plain chocolate such as Bournville
500g pot low-fat fromage frais
Redcurrants or raspberries, to decorate
1 Break the chocolate into squares and place in a heatproof bowl. Stand the bowl over a pan of just simmering water, or melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts, until melted and smooth.
2 Cool the chocolate slightly then fold in half the pot of fromage frais. Fold in the remaining fromage frais and spoon into espresso cups or small glasses. Decorate with redcurrants or raspberries.
