It seems that former X Factor star James Arthur may have found an unlikely friend in a former TOWIE star…

James Arthur – who won the singing show in 2012, has recently revealed that he’s made a new bud whilst recording in Los Angeles.

Whilst recording at an LA hotel, James bumped into none other than Mark Wright, who has made the trip across the pond hoping to make it big in the US.

Speaking to The Mirror, James confessed: “It was a random one,”

“I recorded a special feature at The Standard hotel in Los Angeles. I was sitting by the pool waiting to hear it back when Mark came over and we had a couple of glasses of whisky.

“He is such a lovely, down-to-earth guy.”

And it seems the pair are now so close that they’re even considering sharing an LA pad together! “We talked about hanging out and sharing a flat. It would be a pretty cool flat,” James shared.

Mark recently scored a huge TV role over in America, as the host of show Extra alongside Saved by the Bell‘s Mario Lopez.
