In this week’s issue of Woman magazine, daytime TV presenter and Loose Women star Ruth Langsford talks to us exclusively about her marriage to Eamonn Holmes, her struggle with weight and keeping fit for TV, and how she feels about getting older.

Talking about keeping fit and in shape, Ruth says her main concern is staying healthy, but she also has to be careful how she looks on camera, “Working in telly, I have to watch my weight”.

The opinionated breakfast TV host doesn’t get too hung up on her weight though, and hates people who count calories, “I feel like saying, ‘Oh shut up and have a chip!’ she says. However the 55 year old does get annoyed when people talk about her husband, Eamonn’s weight, “It is irritating when people go on about Eamonn’s weight, to be honest, I think Eamonn looks great for his age.”

We agree Ruth, and it was great chatting to the friendly, candid, TV star about family life and fame!
