“I can’t give you much business.”

Prince William isn’t afraid to crack a joke at his own expense – even if it means drawing attention to his thinning hair.

The Prince couldn’t resist drawing attention to his bald spot while performing his royal duties at a London café on Tuesday.

Greeting some hairdressers from a barbershop next door, William joked: “I don’t have much hair, I can’t give you much business.”

His comments didn’t stop there however. During his visit he was congratulated on news of his third child with wife Kate Middleton, and teased the new royal baby could be along sooner than expected.

Speaking to one midwife, he said: “All the best with the midwifery, I may see you sooner than you think.”

He was also gifted with three wooden owls for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and their unborn baby.

Restoration Station Manager Rhys Pritchard presented him with the gifts for each of his children, saying, “One for each, we don’t want any arguments.”

William replied: “Thank you very much, yes we don’t want arguments.”

The 35-year-old was visiting Spitalfields Crypt Trust, a charity that aims to provide practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction, poverty or social isolation.

The charity started in 1965 as one of the first residential and rehabilitation centres in the U.K. for homeless men suffering from alcoholism. It has now expanded to provide a range of tailored services to support men and women with their addiction recovery journeys.
