Holly has a very thoughtful reason for avoiding responding to unnecessary comments about her weight.
It’s fair to say that our fave This Morning lady, Mrs Holly Willougby, has been looking amazing lately. But then, what changes?!
However, her image has been subject to some rather unnecessary scrutiny over the past few months – and the mother-of-three has now spoken out about it.
It’s fair to note that during the recent months, Holly appears to have been on a fitness kick. Following the arrival of her youngest son, two-year-old Chester, 36-year-old Holly allegedly took up Pilates as part of her weight loss regime.
And, following her success, many fans have been praising Holly for her incredible progress.
However, some had began unfairly criticising Holly’s progress.
Holly has now responded to the narrative surrounding her fitness journey, revealing the very sensitive reason she had avoided drawing more attention to it.
Speaking with Fabulous magazine, Holly shares: ‘I think people will always discuss [weight], and it’s exactly why I just won’t. It just adds to it. I’ve sat across from parents who have lost children from [eating disorders] and I don’t want to be a part of it’.
The lovely lady then added, ‘Body image is such a dull subject when there is so much more to talk about. As long as you’re happy and you’re healthy, move on’.
Speaking of her own views on body confidence, Holly then shares: ‘I try not to focus too much on my appearance. As long as I’m healthy, that’s good enough for me’.
We think Holly has the right idea with this one – healthy all the way! We’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions, so please comment below!
